Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up!
We are proud to present the inaugural NPM Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) during NAIDOC Week 2022, which outlines our commitment to reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across Australia.
Our Reflect RAP represents an opportunity for us as a business community to reflect upon what reconciliation means and the opportunity that we have, to create a different, diverse, and united future.
Our organisation, at its heart, creates places for people. We believe people matter, our purpose is to create places that encourage them to thrive, connect, collaborate, and allow them to belong.
We design and construct schools, shops, industrial spaces, offices and much more across Australia, which gives us a unique opportunity to connect people and communities to a deeper understanding of Country and First Nations culture.
We have an opportunity to learn from the rich cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and together we can contribute to the preservation of their stories, cultures, and connections to Country in a way that can bring us all closer together.
This RAP sets out a framework for us to embark on our reconciliation journey in a meaningful way for our people to connect to and continue to play a significant role in our progress.
