Working in partnership with Creo Design Group, we recently completed a design and construct for corporate law firm Hamilton Locke. Their new headquarters located in Australia Square was designed to accommodate the companies growing needs.
During the design phase, our goal was to offer employees a modern and comfortable environment that hosts clients in a professional and forward-thinking space. The theme of ‘coral’ sets the tone for the space, corals are colonies of individuals, teemed with life which is mirrored in Hamilton Locke’s culture and values.
Visitors and staff are greeted by an open lobby area with timber wall panelling and a custom marble reception desk, creating a glow within the feature joinery to highlight the feature zones of the space. With a large growing team utilising space was important when completing this design.
The boardrooms are integrated with the kitchen using an operable folding wall that can be opened and closed creating extra space in both areas for networking and social events. This wall is also used as a whiteboard designed for brainstorming sessions to be functional and focus on innovation.
A circular soft furnishing area with plants hanging over a room divider offers a wind-down area for a more different chilled out atmosphere. The arrangement of the kitchen area has the wow factor, featuring timber battens and feature ceilings with recessed lighting. There is an integrated ice bucket bar arrangement within the bench bar, tiling mosaics and rattan chairs which give off the impression of a cool, elegance that everyone can enjoy.
