Inspired by the Bluefin Resources brand, we designed a space that had references to the ocean which accurately reflects and celebrates the recruitment company’s unique culture. After spending a few years in their previous office Bluefin Resources had outgrown the space.
The team was using two separate offices working disjointedly so it was important to create workspaces to bring the entire team together, as well as areas for private meetings, training, relaxation and socialising.
There is a strong visual representation of the company’s brand, culture and values throughout. The theme of waves emphasises the progress and connections made in a workplace, with a cool colour palette of blues and white signifying a composed and peaceful environment. The wow factors are the use of light against glass combined with an industrial exposed feature ceiling. Modular lounges create collaboration zones, acoustic clouds and custom made canvases with beautiful ocean imagery retain the theme of relaxation.
Each meeting room is named after a beach in Sydney and a feature wall reinforces Bluefin’s company values through consistent branding that accentuates the space and enhances employee experience. Adjacent to the open office plan area is a sliding acoustic wall system designed by our team, which slides to reveal a larger kitchen, break out area or training room.
The office successfully structures Bluefin Resources culture with modern workplace amenities in a positive and welcoming environment.
