Location: 45 Clarence St Sydney
Brief: Defit and make good levels 1,2,3 and part of level 8 including refurbishment of lift lobbies and bathroom amenities for levels 1,2 & 3.

The project was used as an internal study for Dexus, determining speed to market from sign off to delivery.

Results: Whilst other competitors quoted a 12-week turnaround which is an industry standard, we committed to a 6-week turnaround.

We cost engineered the project to accommodate 2x 12hr shifts Monday to Sunday of all trades throughout the duration of the project.

The demolition phase was completed within the programmed 5 days, this was critical to our 6-week deadline. Having demolition finished on time meant other trades were able to work freely, completing their tasks within the programmed time frame.

All old lights were recycled and swapped with new energy efficient LEDs in line with the NSW Energy Savings Scheme. This reduced the cost of new lighting for Dexus and will see future benefits for new tenants.

The new lift lobbies didn’t compromise in aesthetic appearance using veneered aluminium to combat human contact and meet strict fire regulations.
